On Saturday May 20th the non-profit organization "Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Butler County" is having a fundraiser at FigLeaf Brewing Company in Middletown, Ohio. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is "a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. Our organization has grown steadily over time, and we’re working on opening more chapters in different states to serve more people. NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!®." MiddTown Music Radio is proud to announce our participation in this great event and hope that you will join us in supporting this amazing cause. We'll be broadcasting "LIVE" from FigLeaf Brewing Company beginning around 11am so we encourage you to stop by and say hello and perhaps pick up some cool FREEBIES. The event itself begins at noon and runs till midnight with great local music all day and let us not forget the Bourbon Raffle with one bottle being given away each hour. Every $10 raffle ticket sold goes to Sleep in Heavenly Peace Butler County and brings beds to those in need.

Where do your donations go?

"Our chapter is a 100% volunteer organization. Your donation stays in our community and serves kiddos right here. All funds are used to build and deliver our fully furnished beds to kiddos. Our expenses include tools, lumber and hardware for Build Days and new mattresses, bedding and pillows for deliveries."

Chasing Pheonix

When musicians Zee Phoenix and Ronnie Williams met in 2014, the chemistry was undeniable - both on and off the stage. They formed the duo Chasing Phoenix and began playing local bars and open mic nights. With Zee on vocals and Ronnie on guitar/vocals, their unique musical style built a following in and around Charleston, South Carolina.

After getting married in 2020, the duo moved to Mooresville, North Carolina, where they picked up Tim Vaughan on bass guitar, along with Chris Bird on percussion/backup vocals. The modern-day Chasing Phoenix rose. They play original music, as well all an eclectic mix of covers including old-school and modern country, pop, soul, classic rock, and a little bit of shag (if you know, you know).

Since their inception, Chasing Phoenix has powered into the local mainstream performing a vast array of music on the ever expanding local scene.
